Biography:
Coach K is a Chatham County native, has been coaching volleyball and softball for nine years at the middle school and high school level. Her coaching philosophy centers around hard work. dedication, and communication. Coach K values growth by focusing on team and individual goals to learn from the past to succeed in the future. Fundamentals of the sport are a key role in improving our day to day success and creating our legacy.

Michael Purcell.

Biography:
After graduating from NC State in 1996 and Georgia Tech in 1997, Michael came back to the Triangle to establish his roots. In 2006, he moved “out” to Chatham County to establish his home. His current 4th, 6th and 8th grade children have been in Chatham County Schools since Kindergarten. For the past six years, he has coached their baseball and softball teams in Cary and Apex. He also assists in coaching the Pollard Middle School softball team and head coaches a 14U travel softball team in the NC Challengers organization. He has also coached and played in countless co-ed and men's softball leagues around the Triangle over the last 30 years. His coaching focus is on fundamentals and personal accountability while he encourages the athletes to find enjoyment in their improvement and contributions to the team. Michael looks forward to contributing to the success of Seaforth athletics and academics!
