Pete Rogers
Assistant Coach

A native of Oostburg, Wis., Rogers posted a 145-1 prep record and a trio of Wisconsin State High School Championships and one time state runner-up. Pete spent 15 years in collegiate coaching, with 10 years as Head Wrestling Coach at Lakeland University and 5 years as Assistant Wrestling Coach at Purdue University. Throughout his coaching career, Rogers ran a series of camps for wrestlers at all skill levels. Rogers wrestled collegiately for The Ohio State University from 1996-to-2000. A four-time varsity letter winner and two-time NCAA qualifier, he was a team captain and had a third-place showing at the Big Ten Championships as a part of a 20-4 senior season. Rogers also led the team in pins as a junior and was named the Buckeyes Most Dedicated Wrestler in his final year. Rogers has a masters degree in education from Lakeland and a bachelors degree in sport and leisure studies from Ohio State. Pete serves as the Territory Sales Manager for Advantage Fitness, where he works directly with high schools and colleges in Southeast Virginia and Eastern North Carolina to design fitness and weight rooms. He and his wife, Brandi, have two children, Isabella and Gabe.
