I am Doug Hallyburton.  This coming year will mark my 21st year in education, and it is my 26 th year as a state employee.  I started in Chatham county in the 2020 - 2021 school year. I came from Burke County where I have served as a teacher, a coach, an assistant principal, athletic director, and a testing coordinator. 

In 20 years, I have never had the opportunity to join others in opening a new school, and I am excited for the chance to do so.  

But more so, I am ecstatic over the opportunity to get to know and learn with new families and students who will attend Seaforth HS. 

I look forward to our new time together as Hawks; #WeAreSeaforth!
