Coach Rashaun Rives grew up in Pittsboro and attended Chatham County Schools. He graduated from Northwood High School where he played football, basketball, and participated in track and field events. Coach Rives earned his B.S. degree in Rehabilitation Studies from Winston-Salem State University. He also played football at WSSU and was a three-year starter at defensive tackle. Coach Rives is married and has two kids.

Coach Rives is entering his 14 th year coaching high school football. During his career he has helped numerous teams win conference championships and playoff games. He coaches his players to achieve success through hard work, great technique, and fundamentals.
